Medicaid Doula Study

STUDY BASICS

Are you aged 18 or older and insured by Pennsylvania Medicaid? Have you given birth in the past 6 months? You may be eligible to join a research study on doula services and racial health fairness in Pennsylvania Medicaid by participating in one, 90-minute focus group. Compensation is provided.

STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this focus group is to hear experiences with pregnancy and birth and to hear thoughts on how Medicaid policies might be developed to best support Medicaid enrollees receiving doula care. This study is also interested in hearing thoughts on health fairness and how it relates to the care received during pregnancy and birth.

COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?

• Live in Pennsylvania
• Are insured by Pennsylvania Medicaid
• Are 18 or older
• Were covered by Medicaid for a birth
• Have given birth in the past 6 months
