MyPaTH Story Booth – COVID-19 Stories
Participants are invited to share how they are maintaining their health during the coronavirus pandemic, or to share what it is like being ill with COVID-19 and/or caring for a loved one who is ill with COVID-19. Participation in this research study involves one 45-minute session that takes place over the phone. Eligible participants must be able to read and understand English.
Diabetes and School Health
Are you a parent of a school-age child (ages 6-12) or adolescent (ages 12-18)? You may be able to participate in a research study to learn about your experiences with your child's diabetes care in school. Compensation is provided.
Bone Adaptations to Physical Training
The primary purpose is to determine the bone density, structure and strength adaptations that result from various exercise programs which differ based on the frequency and intensity of bone loading. Subjects will complete 24 weeks of resistance training or maintain their current activity level without beginning any formal exercise training program and participate in laboratory visits.
Coping with Type 1 Diabetes

The Effects of Fasting on Lipid Metabolic Profile and Bone Metabolism
Are you 25 to 45 years old? Do you have a family history of type 2 diabetes and/or personal history of gestational diabetes (diabetes that develops in pregnancy)? You may be eligible for a study assessing the effects of fasting for one day a week for 3 months. Compensation provided.
VX22-264-101 - Type 1 Diabetes Treatment Study
Do you have Type 1 Diabetes? Are you 18-65 years old? You may be eligible for a research study to determine whether the VX-264 implant can improve glucose control. Compensation is provided.
Painful Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Study
Do you have Painful Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (PDPN)? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to find out if different treatments have an effect on painful neuropathy due to diabetes. Compensation is provided.
DREAM Acute Pancreatitis Study
Are you 18-75 years old? Have you recently had an acute pancreatitis attack? You may be able to participate in a study to determine if acute pancreatitis increases your risk for diabetes. This study involves up to 9 visits over 3-5 years, and includes providing blood samples and undergoing tests to detect diabetes. Compensation is provided.
TrialNET Pathway to Prevention 18-45
Do you have a relative who has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes? Are you aged 18-45? You may be able to take part in a research study to help better understand the development of type 1 diabetes in adults who have a family member with the disease. People found to be at an increased risk for type 1 diabetes may qualify for additional research studies.
Deprescribing Diabetes Medications in Older Adults
Are you a caregiver for an adult with diabetes? Is the adult age 65 or over? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to better understand your views on discontinuing or dose-reducing diabetes medications with risk of harm. Compensation is provided.
TrialNet TOPPLE Type 1 Diabetes Study
Were you diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the past 48 months? Are you 18-45 years old? You may be able to participate in a research study to test a new therapy that is designed to decrease the immune system attacks on insulin-producing cells. Study participation lasts one year and involves 16 in-person visits. Compensation is provided.

GLADIATOR STUDY- A Study of Oral Ladarixin in New-onset Type 1 Diabetes and a Low Residual β-cell Function (LDX0319)
Are you 18-45 years old and have you been newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (first insulin dose within 100 days)? You may be able to participate in a study to find out if an investigational drug called ladarixin is safe and effective and if it is capable of slowing down the progression of type 1 diabetes. Study participation involves about 12 visits, up to 2 years. Compensation is provided.
